The Bookish Football Star (Video 1)
Okay, so. This video was about a wide receiver named Malcolm Mitchell, who learned to love reading. Anyway back to what I'm supposed to do.
The video about the football player made me very inspired. It made me really happy to know that even if Malcolm Mitchell had difficulties with reading, he was able to improve his reading abilities by joining a book club and reading much more than before. I found it really nice that Malcolm Mitchell was not afraid of joining a book club filled with older women. This is because people today are embarrassed to be associated with people much older than them, especially the opposite gender. Seeing him so happy talking about his favorite parts of the book with the older woman made me feel delighted.
Another thing that inspired me was the book that he made, and the donations he made to help children read more. Knowing that Malcolm Mitchell was not only able to improve his reading skills but able to write a book for children is really astonishing. I also admire how joyful Malcolm looked while speaking to the children about the book and also teaching them the importance of reading.
At this point, I haven't really faced a challenge as big as Malcolm's. There have been minor problems such as finishing up all my homework, speaking in front of the class, and etc. However when I do face a challenge like Malcolm, I am sure to be just as motivated and positive as Malcolm.

Another Hero
A 4-year-old superhero has the power to feed the homeless (Video 2)
Alrighty, another video, and one about an adorable superhero that I would never and never will be.
The video about the boy feeding the homeless (using the power of allowance to buy chicken sandwiches) was so heartwarming and very endearing. Seeing how young the boy is and already helping the homeless gives me hope for a better place. Even before watching the video, I was already filled with joy. Seeing young kids like President Austin already making a difference in the world makes me happy to be in the world we live in. After watching the video, I felt so inspired to do something helpful. No matter how small or how big, I just felt as if I needed to some good. His dedication to helping others made me so happy. The most inspiring thing about this video is how the little boy didn't do this for attention, but he did this because "It's just the right thing to do."
President Austin in no doubt, the most intelligent, kind, and dedicated four-year-old. When President Austin said "Feeding the homeless is the highlight of my life" made me very delighted. I have never heard a kid his age say something so endearing.
(Also, this isn't really important. But anyway. Austin is my new idol. I'm happy to know that people like this exist, and I hope more people in the world will pitch in like this amazing superhero.)
President Austin being the better 4 year old |
Thank you for loving Austin as much as I do. I especially love your line, "I'm happy to know that people like this exist, and I hope more people in the world will pitch in like this amazing superhero".
