A fun pretty fun assignment.
An essay I surprisingly did good on.
Beginning Art is my favorite class (debating whether art or history is my favorite class). We're currently on the painting unit right now and are using acrylics. I think the painting unit is one of the most difficult units right now since the way I paint makes my artwork look streaky and rushed. I also really like doing Art history notes and write-ups.
Update 1: Currently in art class, we're learning how to shade objects. We use shading scales to help us correctly find the right shade to use for the right area. We're now doing a shading project on napkins, which have multiple folds in them (Mrs. Blair said that sketching out the napkin would be the most difficult).

Art History Notes - Frida Kahlo the Bisexual Icon
Art History Write Up - Frida Kahlo the Bisexual Icon the Sequel
First of all, I'm really happy to know that I got into advanced art because I seriously thought I wouldn't be able to get in.
Well at the moment, art is really chill. The only project we've had (and still currently working on) is the "Getting to Know You" project. I really like this assignment, because not only are we able to see our improvement over time, but use various types of media. I just finished outlining my project, and I'm beginning to color my project.
I'm really excited that I have Mrs. Blair as my advisory because she's a really easygoing person, and I don't have to really stress out in her class. There's a lot of kids who actually take art more seriously, so the classroom is way more peaceful than it was last year (I didn't mention it in my seventh-grade blog, but it was super irritating and noisy in art class). Many of my friends are there, so I'm not as quiet and uncomfortable in art class. We also get to help out the school, like creating monthly posters for the school (even though most kids don't even pay attention to them ugHH. hEY but it's also good for community service so ha these kids don't know what they're missing #Art4Win).

The only assignment I have so far.
I think P.E. is one of the most difficult classes I have.I really dislike P.E. whoops I typed that stOP TYPING ME This is because I'm not really "physically" fitting for it. I'm fine with taking tests because I can just study, but I'm not good with the activities we have in PE. Honestly, I can't even catch a ball. I'm going to over exaggerate so you can understand my perspective here, so let me insert an example below.
"Here catch the ball and you'll save our entire team, no pressure."
"Okay."
(Completely misses, literally goes the opposite direction of where the ball was landing)
Random kids in your team that you can't remember the names of are now screaming.
Physical Education 8
Examples:
(This is PE???)
Well, I have returned again to face one of my biggest enemies, PE (No hate to the teachers, I'm just not good at sports in general). So far, we're on the volleyball unit, and can I just mention how I cannot properly perform a set, a bump, nor serve. No joke, I will seriously fail the skills test, and my parents are going tokick me out of the house and I'll have to live in my grandma's apartment ground me.
The only thing that makes me feel less nervous is that most of my friends also struggle in PE. That way, we'll able to help each other improve. Honestly, I would pair up with the athletic kids, but their extremely competitive and I know one hundred percent I'll get yelled at by an athletic kid because of how stupid I am.//
Luckily, there's extra credit, so I think I'll be okay?? Just kidding, I take all of that back, even with extra credit at best I'll have a B+. Oopsies, my pessimistic perspective got the best of me. Wow.
Also, can we take a moment to just appreciate how much I have to say for P.E, even if it's like, my worst subject?
